We offer 1-to-1 training sessions which are customized to your individual needs and goals. These sessions can be booked after an initial consultation. During the consultation we will set out your goals and any barriers to exercise that you may have. You will be asked to fill out a medical check form and signed consent. The aim of the consultation is to make sure that we are a right fit for each other and to assure us both that Black Dog Fitness can help you achieve your goals.
If you wish to start your journey with Black Dog Fitness, an induction session can be scheduled. This is where your form and current fitness levels will be assessed so that a bespoke training plan can be created. This plan will be provided to you digitally (a paper copy can be requested for a £3 fee).
Further sessions can be booked as and when required by yourself. Usually we would recommend a minimum of 1 or 2 sessions per week. Each week we will take a look at how training is progressing and if the overall plan needs to be adjusted.
Sessions can take place in your home, at a local gym, or in one of our available venues. Prices will vary depending on location. Home sessions are available within a 15 mile radius of WS10; please contact us for a price for further distances (within 25 miles).
You may find the 1-to-1 training a bit too intimate or intimidating at first, and that's why we offer 2-to-1 training. This method is ideal if you and a friend or family member are training for a specific event together, or are just looking to improve your general fitness.
These sessions will be personalized, however they don't offer the same individuality as our 1-to-1 plans as they are more rounded to cover the goals of both participants at the same time.
2-to-1 training requires more space, so needs to be booked at one of our available venues.
A discounted rate is applied to 2-to-1 sessions, however the price will revert to a 1-to-1 price if one participant is unable to attend.
